Ernestine had been without a job for 5 years and
"could not figure out what was wrong with her." Interview
after interview, she never received a call back.
Not able to cover her expenses and being a few
dollars over the food stamp allowance, Ernestine was at the end of
her rope and feeling hopeless.
Ernestine learned about Christian HELP's CFJI
program at a seminar and decided to participate. There she learned
how to interview well, write a compelling resume, and received food
from the Christian HELP food bank. With the help of CFJI, Ernestine
now has a job, is able to provide for herself, and once again
believes in herself.
"All those years of
struggling finally ended because of their dedication and sincere
efforts in helping people like me. This job has given me a
new lease on life. I pray they never end this program. I couldn't have done it
without CFJI."
